David Blackburn, a retired business executive, has extensive experience in product design and development, project management, product launches, training and operational management. He was honored to accept one of the office furniture industry’s highest awards in product design (1997 Neocon Gold Award) and has created successful product designs and inventions for both office and kitchen use. He has special expertise in strategic planning and has orchestrated the comprehensive planning and management of several new start-up product lines.
Over the past 25 years, David has indulged his passion for cooking. He enjoys the creativity of developing his own recipes and has cooked extensively for family and friends, as well as given numerous home cooking demonstrations and informal cooking classes. While having eaten at many fine restaurants worldwide, he prefers home cooking.
Andrea Van Wallenburg has more than twenty-five years of experience researching health and nutrition and brings a wealth of knowledge to her work, with special emphasis on macrobiotic cooking and organic farming. As the mother of seven children, she focuses on diet as it relates to health and overall wellbeing. Having personally dealt with multiple sclerosis for more than ten years, Andrea has a personal interest in the role our diets play in health and healing. She has spent many years as a consultant and personal counselor.
