Learn how to can seasonal and local foods so you can enjoy them year round. We provide a simple approach to preserving foods and learning how to can at home.
You will find easy to follow home canning recipes with associated videos for the six steps in learning the two types of home canning processing; water bath processing and pressure canner processing. We have canning supplies at our complete and secure home canning supply store with checkout and shipment made by Amazon.com. In addition, we invite you to find local grown foods at your nearest farmers' market, published by the the United States Department of Agriculture.
Our free videos are designed to teach you how to can in a progressive manner in terms of canning difficulty. We recommend mastering Video 1 before moving onto Video 2, etc. Once you’ve mastered all six videos, you should be able to can just about anything that is safe to can at home. All recipes at CanningUSA.com refer back to the appropriate video and contain a link to the appropriate page with a reminder of the method.

We are changing our website software and host. This new format will provide easier navigation, additional recipes with measurements calculated for pint and quart jar canning batches. There are new icons for printing and e-mailing recipes.
